Lederer could have easily called with something like two high cards, or low suited connectors...
remember most of the time u miss the flop.. especially with a pair of 3s on the board. aq is pretty decent. he was short stack and made the right move. just unlucky lederer had 6s'

Not a bad all in at all from the short stack. He had his chips invested and didn't have much left anyway. After his opponent checked he had to try to pick up the p ot. Lederer could have easily had two big cards like a weaker A or Q. When AQ dominates a hand like AJ or KQ, A high frequently wins the pot without making a pair, so sometimes you have to bet AK or AQ even when you don't flop a pair.
