the multi table tourney had alot of players and alot of tables by playing slowly you have a better chance of getting one of the prizes because the players on the other table will get eliminated faster
She is not referring to that. Therefore, she is using incorrect terminology.
Why would that have anything to do with slow playing?

taking a long time to make each decision isn't really slowrolling though. slowrolling really only applies when you have an EASY decision (all-in in front of you, you are holding AA. all-in on river, you are holding the nuts, etc)
Slow playing: check calling or even checking behind with a monster hand to trap an opponent or get more action on later streets.
Slow rolling: taking a while to turn over your hand and letting your opponent think he or she has the best hand, then turning up the winner in dramatic fashion. This is considered incredibly rude and is frowned upon.
Players at this tournament were doing neither of these; they were playing slowly, which is what Tiffany should have said.
