Are you dumb? Any hand higher than a pair will obliterate AA. The likelyhood of someone getting higher than a pair is far too likely. People who stubbornly hold on to losing hands because they are top pair are the ones that statisticly lose money in the long run. No pair is strong after the flop. Ever.
Also, don't forget that Ivey and Cunningham know each other, how they play, and what they bet on. Not the same as playing random people.

actually hands higher than top pair are less likely. aces against top pair are 80 20.probability of hitting top pair on the flop 1/3.hitting a set 1/7.sure there are circumstances when you have to lay it down such as flush draws hitting.but if you advocate playing passively with aces then you are a losing player in the long run.plus i'm sure you would have layed them down in a heartbeat with rags on board, no flush draws, and a far-fetched straight, playing against a lag like ivey.right? wrong

I think Cunningham could put Ivey on 7 8 and hit his straight on the river. A set, 2 pairs, and straight would beat aces. However, it is still a very good lay down.

well if u play poker proffesionally you would know that NO ONE bets half the pot, which is too low, and no one bets the pot, which looks like hes tryin to push him out! this was a cash game, and its HARDER to put chips in the pot because its all their real MONEY not tournament chips, if dis was a tournament with a board like that, cunningham wouldve called easily!! dats the difference between cash game and tourny!
