he wouldve made the same move either way. the initial pot before allen acting was little over 2 million. compare that to his stack which seems about 8 million is only 4 times the pot. hands like 10s is an obvious push in the late stages of the tournament. im sure he wouldve pushed with lower pairs as well.

yeah....it is good call when you are a huge chip leader but if you're short stack or you are risking more than half of your chips thats a bad call.K J is a crap hand to go all in preflop unless you know your opponent is bluffing. As if Jamie Gold has a read on Cunningham knowing he's almost 50/50 he's just calling with a mediocre hand just so he could hopefully get lucky and eliminate Cunningham because Cunningham is a big threat to Jamie

Gold came into the main event with the tactic of talking his opponents into making the wrong plays. It worked well. I didn´t use to like Jame at all but since playing in the biggest cash games with the best players in the world hes actually improving by the day. He still has alot of luck but I think that all this bad talk about him is unfair. He won the main event. Anyone winning the main event needs to get extreamly lucky and he did.

I think Gold has already lost at least most, if not all of his WSOP earnings. Some of it went to Bodog after renegging on a deal that he'd give half of his earnings to them... they settled on at least a couple million. Seeing him on High Stakes Poker, he lost a good coin there... and he has entered plenty of other cash games and tournaments. I know in live tournaments since the 06 WSOP, he has only won 70K.. but that's the tournies we see. I know his stock isn't rising though.
