He should have folded his KQ when his flop bet was raised. The minimum hand to put the opponent on is AK, especially if the opponent is a tight player.

it wasnt a terrible call, he was putting Jen on QJ of diamonds, which would mean she was a slight favorite, but he wouldnt be a big dog. He has played a lot with her and was willing to gamble. I would throw it away against a tight player, but the pot was fairly big at that point...

It's a thing they do to reduce the luck/variance factor. The player holding the best hand (Jen) has 70% equity, but its still 150K in the middle and she doesnt want to be beat by 1 lucky catch. It doesnt do any difference, she'll still win 70% of the time and lose 30%, but it lowers the chance that she'll go broke. Very common in cashgame, ex. if a player holds a big draw vs a made hand. Neither player wants to flip 200k for 50/50...that's neutral EV and these guys seek better spots than that.

Needless to say; Harman is extremly unfortunate to lose twice. Obv...the more times you run it, the closer you would get to the actual 70/30 statistics, but even just two times lowers the chance of lose it all dramaticly. I liked Doyle's commet when he ran AK vs Sheikan Ac9c on a Ace-high flop with 2 clubs. Shiek: "lets go once","it's hard to win it twice"(he was goiong for the one big suckout) Doyle: "Yea, it's hard to win it twice, but it's pretty hard to lose is twice..." (Doyle won the pot).

im guessing you mean why they ran the turn and river twice? it's to protect the better hand from being sucked out on. running it twice lowers the probability of the better hand postflop of losing the entire pot. in this case, it didn't help jennifer at all because daniel won both times, but that's just bad luck.
