Phil Hellmuthe is a Top Pro...he's like he says an Eagle...only 3 other pros I can think of are just as good as him...and thats Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, and The late Chip Reese...Phil Ivey is a lvl lower...just a lil tho...Ivey is a very Great player...But hedoesnt hve that notable Record.....

Hellmuth is nowhere near as good as Ivey.
He has accomplished more because he has been playing the game for 20 years and the standard is much higher nowadays.
I don't think Hellmuth is even in top 20 skill wise currently.

um its easy for you to say Ivey is Better just because its Ivey....Yea I like Phil Ivey Too...but I ave heard from other players/announcers that Ivey doesnt take alot of tournaments seriously...Im not saying Phil Ivey will neverbe better then Hellmuthe...but until Ivey can concentrate on winning at poker and not just betting...golf/prop bets....Phil Hellmuthe, Doyle Brunson Johnny Chan and Chip Reese are 10s...

At best you can make an argument for Phil being a better texas hold'em player and though I'd definetly respect it I wouldn't agree.
When Phil won the WSOP main event there were 178 entrants, nowadays there is 6000-9000, I think that says it all really.

Yes I know most of his wins are Texas Holdem, guess what, you can't be called the best poker player if your good at only one game.
When you look at how many WSOP events Hellmuth has entered, what events he entered and how many were in each event and compare it to Ivey you'll understand how much better Ivey is with over 10 years less time played.

I will grant you that if the situation had been reversed, Hellmuth would've bitched forever. However, it was by no means a bad call by Hellmuth. When a person is lowstack in a heads up situation..they will shove all in with just about any decent hand. Any Ace is good heads up, and since Phil had the other guy well covered, he had even more justification to make the call. Hellmuth made the right play, but he would have bitched to kingdom come if the tables were turned.

The last WSOP event that Phil won was in 2007, it was $1500 no limit texas hold em event. There were 2,628 buy ins and Phil took first place. aside from the WSOP, he also won the first National NBC heads up poker championship in 2005. He continues to make deep runs into the WSOP main event and has strong finishes in many other tournaments. As far as Texas Hold Em goes, Hellmuth is one of the best, and there is no argument there.
