no!!! the guys ...( 9 months ago by otooleta)
no!!! the guys right, your playing on the assumption that dealer is playin a blind 6 but thats neither most common or clear in the clip.. !!! NOW he split 10's and recieved 2x10 on top of these (NOW REMEMBER 2 x 10's) so lets imagine he didn't then she has 5 then a 10 and then a 10 and then a 6 then she's bust!!!! but if the 6 is dealt before the second round of cards our dealt (i.e blind) then yes your right!!

hindsight bias man, u dont know what would have happened, casinos use multi deck simul shuffles dealer chance of busting with 6 deck multi shuffle is only 43% but splitting kings is def tarded on his part, maybe he wanted to take out the small cards to leave mroe big ones for the dealer

im a dealer and splitting 2x10s is like splitting a 20 inch dick. never do it, you will absolutely get heat from other players. the old guy is wrong, the dealer would not get 21. if the guy stands, the dealer whom is on 6 will receive the 2x10s he got for splitting. this was one of the scene where i raised my eyebrows and said "what?"

in blackjack the rule is dealer will NOT stand on 16 or less. so the dealer had 6, if she gets another card which we can see is a 10, she will be 16, followed by another 10 would be 26 Bust. i dont know why you even bother questioning me since i told you my occupation. you should've just spent a little time to think about it

What does the "Double down" part mean in BlackJack? It sounds like Vince wanted to double the amount but can only have one card. Or did he just not want to hit a 14?

I always thought the dealer deals two cards to everyone including themselves. One card is face up and one card is face down. I guess im just mistaken????
double down or ...( 2 months ago by masakenji)
double down or double means. if the player either have a total of 9-10 or 11. he can choose to double his bet, but can only get 1 card in return. people usually double when they believe the dealer will bust or they "think" they have a high chance of getting a 10-value card.

The dealer dealt herself 11, so 11 + 10 is 21.
@masakenji: ...( 2 months ago by PatrickHannon86)
@masakenji: Although you have the right idea, the cards don't have to be 9, 10, or 11 to double. There are many times when you an ace and a low card that you would chose to double.
