1. Pat isn't a Republican. He isn't pushing for the Republican base - he's an independent. So stop calling him a republican. He hates those neoconservative morons as much as everyone else.
2. How is he using online gambling to ignore the "real" issues? If you look at the opening of the video YOU uploaded you'd see the topic is online gambling.
3. Pat disagrees strongly with the Republican party on issues dealing with foreign policy. He STRONGLY disagrees with both the US going into Iraq and the US overwhelming support for Israel in the recent hezbollah attack.
That is not freedom, it is coercion.
And Pat Buchanan is definitely not a neocon! More like a paleocon -- as in "paleolithic"!
He is wrong here, how can you be for small government, personal responsibility but not the right to gamble YOUR MONEY away? Its yours - Pat would be going crazy with a left-winger tried to "claim" your money with higher taxes.
