Ivey's such a punk. Dude wins a few bracelets, him and a few thousand others, and he gets an attitude. He was a loser punk when he started and now that the real pros are onto his play, he can't win shi*. He's accomplished zero in the past year and is close to being a hasbeen wannabee. Mr. Ivey seems out of place, perhaps outclassed by most of the true pros. I'm noticing more and more negative comments about him and it's quite understandable. I think the game is maturing as well as the fan base. Mr. Ivey has definitely lowered the class of fans who are attracted and I think that's unfortunate.

He's ranked number 7 in the world in lifetime tournament money. 5 world series braclets. Not a couple. 1 WPT title that he just won last week. 7 WPT final tables. Several world series final tables. He won 16 million in a heads up match against a billionaire when all of the other top pros were getting crushed by him. He won 800K in two heads up matches two weeks back on Full Tilt. He is respected and admired by many top pros including Doyle Brunson and Barry Greenstein. Are they just stupid??

Look..I get what you're saying but do you actually believe that a logical explanation opposed to my rants would make any difference to these goofballs who waste time spewing their opinions? Anyone who sincerely believes that Ivey is unsurpassed or anywhere near that level regarding poker believes this because of what he/she reads or sees on the web or some similiar form of media and has no first hand experience.

Yes, I honestly believe and know from experience that if you give actual reasons that someone is not a very good player, it has a good chance of swaying people towards your point of view.
I'm not a very experienced poker player, so I can't tell the difference between great players. I assume Ivey is the best because that's what the great players say. If you gave clear reasons why he wasn't. I'd reconsider. If you just call him names, it makes you seem immature and I'm less likely to listen.

Not everyone, douchebag, just those that believe Ivey's style of play is a winning one. What lowlife's like you don't understand is that respect and decency were also a part of this game and Ivey has chosen to discard those elements. In my book scumbags like him are losers not only in their chosen profession but in life as well. And as far as you helping me...forget about it. I'm a winner and always will be. There isn't anything you can say or do that I haven't already considered.

I can name at least one other player who threw repect and decency out the window years before Ivey was even playing poker and that is Phil Hellmuth. And dont give me that crap that Hellmuth is one of the best players there is because nearly every other player from the Brunsons to even Mike the mouth show respect (apart from some of the players that they have rivalries with). And from what I have seen Ivey shows tons of respect when he's at the table.
