I don't blame Negreanu. He checked to see if that amateur was gonna try and raise so he can try to get some more easy money. He could clearly see it was two pairs vs. a fullhouse. By him raising after the river it tipped Negreanu off that he had a fullhouse. That guy just showed arrogance by trying to insult his intelligence. He should have just checked after the check.

How should he of checked the full house? You have to take value bet there. In any case, negreanu was very suspicious and wasn't calling anything on the turn or river. You can't insult the guys play, just give credit to daniel.

Some player play only pairs or big connectors and if you watch the played cards a bit, you know about that. now lets say hes that kind of player and you get the impression after the flop, that he might have hit a set. you just need to expect him to bet high after that river. and he did ...

Checking on that FH would have been better than raising. Daniel was figuring him out and he saw that he was a check raiser. The guy looked him dead in the eye than raised with a cocky smirk. That's some bitch shit. There were better options going head to head with a person who has better Poker acumen. If you're so against checking, he could have simply bet. Much better than raising on the river after a check. You don't want to be so predicable & he gave the wrong guy information on how he plays.

Funny analysis considering you don't even know the most BASIC of poker terminology. There was no raise at any point from the turn on. Checking on the turn and then betting on the river is not a check raise as you call it. And although he may have played it a bit predictably, he had to value bet on the river. He had the best hand and he knew it... so you have to try even if you've been sniffed out. Homework for today: learn definitions of bet, raise, check raise, and value bet.

There's quite a few videos out there where he reads the pros' hands exactly. For example, reading that Mike Sexton had pocket kings when it could have been any overpair that he had. Mike was so impressed he gave Daniel the free info that his read was right. Or reading Doyle's trip 3's against him. The guy is good all the time. I guess just not as good as yourself. Can I get the links to watch your superior poker play? Oh. There are none.

its true that he can read amateurs but he also can read pros sometimes but then its hard to read the pros because pros mix their strategies around. sometimes they slow play a good hand sometimes they be aggressive when they bluff or vice versa depending what they did in the previous hands, or maybe they play by figuring out their tells and betting patterns by studying many hands being played. So its hard but i've seen daniel read some pros before.

He reads amateurs better, but definitely doesn't slack against pros. Check out the video against John Juanda.. They both flop 3 of a kind in jacks, but Negreanu managed to fold because he read Juanda had the better kicker... There's plenty more great reads Danny made against pros.
