i agree they are both pros but hachem has a stronger resume at the WSOP and WPT. hachem has really (post main event win) been unlucky in some of these circuit events.

i really dont understand boyd, he said on the interview that he plays as good or better than boyd, so why he takes worst of it so many times and just tries to get lucky once if he thinks hes better?it doesn makes sense to me..

Because 90% of the game is luck... some people are luckier than others. That's what the 99.9% of players that aren't in the final table can't grasp and lose their house, family and life.

What a donkey Dutch is seriously! I find myself wanting to throw something at him! When you put your money in every time with the worst of it and eventually get lucky it doesn´t make you a good poker player it makes you a huge fckin donkey! Dutch will NEVER win another bracelet in any event (with the exception of possibly getting lucky at pin the tail on the ......). Not one well played hand during the whole final table. UL Hach

Whoever says Dutch is a fish doesn't know much about the game. Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy, but remember you're only seeing a few hands selected for TV.
Dutch is often pushing with marginal hands which makes him statistically more likely to be behind WHEN CALLED. But it doesn't make it wrong cause of all the blind money he gets that way in hands we'll never hear of. Stealing blinds and having a decent chance (30 - 40% most of the time) of winning if called is not such a bad strategy.

You could not have palyed a heads up match worse than Dutch did. However when you have such a dominant chip advantage, odds are you will get one suck out.

I agree, if you are talking about heads-up play. But look at the previous clips, where Dutch was raising and reraising in obviously bad situations. The hand where Goodman was all-in, and Dutch raised with QJs and drove out Knight and his A2, was a good example. I'm limited to 500 characters so I won't go into all the other mistakes he made.
You are right about heads-up play though. You really need to push a lot preflop, and be willing to call a lot of all-ins preflop also.

the chip lead boyd had was rediculous. getting a potential knockout with a slight disadvantage is worth it and a valid tournament play. even if he did lose a few times (which he did) he'd still be in good shape to win the tournament
regardless, that river 5 was quite the suckout :P

That was a bad suck out for dutch. He went all in with A 5 off. I think that was a stupid play and Joe did the right thing by calling the all in. Joe is better than dutch but either way good luck to both.

dutch played this well. with hachems range on all those hands, he was set to take all his chips in at most 4 all-ins
