the thing about jamie gold: freaking beastly big stack player. and it doesn't hurt to get like 50 pocket pairs and hitting sets on the flop like crazy. but 07 WSOP... not so hot.
definitely take hachem or raymer over gold.. except for big stack poker.

That's what pros tend to do with reckless amatuers. They like to keep the pots small and let the boards develop before they make their decisions. In this main event, Jamie will make a huge reraise on a draw just for a chance to knock out his opponent. Alan doesn't want to risk so many chips on a draw-race.
