Call of Duty 4 - Multiplayer Beta
Video Description: This is a gameplay video I took of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare at the First to Play press event on August 8th, 2007. I'm not the one playing; credit for that goes to a Microsoft game journalist.
Here are a couple of cool things to look out for:
- At the start, friendly UAV is active, showing the position of enemy targets
- At :22, friendly UAV is initiated again
- At 1:42 friendly UAV is initiated again
- At 1:55 you see the effects of a flash grenade on a player
- At 2:04 an enemy airstrike begins and soon kills the player
- At 2:25 you see an attack helicopter that's been called in by the opposing team
- At 3:19 there's another flash grenade
- At 3:28 the enemy calls in another air strike
- The video ends with the player being killed by the attack helicopter
Also note that the sound quality is pretty bad... all gameplay relevant sound was played through headphones so I couldn't capture any very well.
Other stuff: This is gameplay footage taken from a pre-release beta on the Xbox 360 and should not be used to judge the final game. (even though it already looks pretty darn cool) If anyone at Infinity Ward has a problem with me hosting the video, let me know and I'll remove it.
