I recently had a suck out worthy of this:
I had A6.. was quite short stacked compared to everyone else on the table, so I raised, got a re-raise to put me all in.. was thinking of folding but went for it anyways, he of course had AK.. So I knew I was done for. Flop was A-K-2. So I stood up saying goodnight to everyone.. The turn came: 6. I still said 'well it doesn't matter, i'm still going to bed'.
But sure enough. the river came a 6.
Suck outs are the best.

I was once busted similiar to what happen to Phan. I had pocket Queens, pushed all in with a short stack. I was called by an Ace-Jack. Flop - Ace,Queen,five. Turn - Jack. River - Ace. I can't even calculate the percentage of me losing that hand from the flop but it was much worst than Phan's bad beat, cause the guy had only one over card and therefore only two outs on the river. Funny how poker can be so cruel.
