Bloody hell, he gave the croupier 500,000 as a tip! But OK, if you have 115 million just like that, I guess you can do that. ;) But personally, I can understand up to a point if a fellow player has a good hand or not, but on Le Chiffre, whenever I thought he had bad cards, he had the best hand of the round. He's the person with the strongest pokerface I've ever seen. You can't understand what he's up to in any way.

And ill have to disagree about lechiffre thinking he only was looking at a flush, The players are supposed too be good so Bond would never reraise river allin with a bad flush as he would only get called by a better hand. Lechiffre would know that..........

Yes I agree with you when you say Bond would never raise with a mediocre flush, but when 007 reveals his cards, perhaps Le Chiffre initially thinks he is looking at a flush then realisies it is in fact a straight flush. I don't know about you but if someone reveals two spades on a flush draw consisting of spades, it would take me a few seconds to work out if it is infact a striaght flush. The change in expression on his face shows this.

Is there any need for that sort of language? It's a movie so it's obviously going to be open to interpreatation. People want to share their views and that's what we are doing. I recommend that you construct your time more efficently rather than for some unknown reason attempt to offend your intellectual superiors =).

Ouch, Straight Flush beating Full house. That's gotta fucking hurt. I play poker in casino and I've only seen one person get straight flush from Ace to 5 clovers, and I got 4 of a kind. But man, straight flush? That's insane. But what I don't get is, Bond had 5 and 7. I'm sure Le Chiffre, black guy with pocket of 8s, would've raised before game started. Most people fold 5 and 7. How did Bond stayed in a game? Any Poker pro mind explaining this? Even though 5 and 7 are same suit, i usually fold.

Im definately not a poker pro, but I love playing low suited cards which almost connect.
If there then is a six of the same suit, which connects three im almost at a straight, while my chance of getting a flush also there.
But when I hit the straight, it would be very difficult for them to read the board, because it wont be as obvious. So when you do hit the flop, its easy to get more money.

well, about bond going on with his 5 and 7 of spades: besides being a movie hehe, the flop was Ah, 8 and 6s, so a drawing nut. So all Bond needed was a 4s or a 9s, and since there were no pre-flop or turn bets, he didnt fold.
